***Bud and Lois Artlip celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a surprise party from their daughter.

***Helen Weldon, Vice President of CNYBA, participates yearly in the Alzheimers Walk (one of her beloved family
members has alzheimers). This year, again, she won first prize, earning the most money as an individual.

***Former member Phyllis Cassleman of Oswego passed away on October 18.

***Vernon Loucks is our new MC for all of our monthly Jamborees and is doing a super job. He will also be an MC at
our Festival (look under Festivals).

***The Apple Festival Board of Directors sent us a letter, refunding a generous portion of the money we paid them for use of their grounds, urging us to return in 2000. Please check out our "Festivals" page.
