The Brantling Bluegrass Festival, July 31 to August 2 will include three jam-packed days of great bluegrass music from some of the top national (Lonesome River Band and the Grascals), regional and local bands. We will also offer camping, workshops, food and craft vendors and The Brantling Bluegrass Academy. The festival takes place on the grounds of Brantling Ski Slopes, 4015 Fish Farm Road, Sodus, NY, just 13 miles from the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay and 25 minutes north of the NYS Thruway. Bill Knowlton's Annual Bluegrass Ramble Picnic

Membership Notes

Our CNYBA member and dear friend, Joy Crouch, is in the Hospital at Upstate Medical. She was in the ICU, but has been moved to another room at this point. She will be spending several weeks in rehabilitation. We will let you know where as soon as we can. In the meantime, cards can be sent to Joy at:

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Harold L. "Rusty" Russell on July 15, 2014. Our hearts go out to his wife, Pat, and the rest of his family. Both were regulars at the Marcellus Friday night jams. We will miss him. Precious Memories...

We are sad to report the passing of CNYBA member, Ron DePeyster.
Many of us will remember Ron, singing his country songs at various jams, with his wife, Rose, quietly playing guitar along with him. They were loved by all, and Ron will be missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to Rose. Cards can be sent to Rose at 2036 Recreation Lane, Baldwinsville, NY 13027
